Tippmann US Army Project Salvo Elite Sniper Paintball Gun Set

Product Description

Before you can call yourself a scenario paintball sniper you gotta have the right equipment. Our US Army Project Salvo Elite Sniper Paintball Marker Package comes loaded with everything needed to surgically remove opponents on the field and turn heads off the field. The Project Salvo marker is paired with the proven 20" Tactical Barrel, whose generous straight porting makes for a quiet shot and extra length lets you slip the muzzle through brush and tall grass for those sneaky hidden shots. A folding bipod provides a rock steady rest for accurate aimed fire. The adjustable 30mm red dot sight allows clear target acquisition and a riser rail raises the height of the sight, allowing you to use the sight over the marker body yet minimize mask interference with the folding and collapsible stock. A sling lets you pack your piece when you need to do the long hike to that sniper hide on the opponent's flank. A serious scenario shooter! Elite Sniper Package includes: # US Army Project Salvo Marker # 20" Tactical Sniper Barrel # Folding Bipod with Adjustable Height # 30mm Red Dot Sight # Riser Rail # Sling

1.0 out of 5 stars What a waste....A SHORT AND BLUNT REVIEW. BUYER BEWARE!, May 17, 2010

Package was 30 days late, red dot scope that came with it is garbage(flickers when you put it on setting 9, turns off at 8, the front lens inside is glued very noticeably crooked). The bi-pod is not whats shown in the picture. The barrel does not have the rap 4 tip on it, and that is not a rap 4 barrel its a (custom parts) whatever that is. Contacted the seller about 10 days later, finally responded after a 4 day wait and said that there were shipping problems overseas in China and you cannot buy this marker any where else! So knowing that this is a 3rd party store i immediately called Tippmann and they said there is no problem, they are indeed in stock and ready to ship out Project Salvo markers. Ill never buy from this store again, should of just bought the marker by itself and saved 100$

I was pleasantly surprised at how nicely this gun shot. As far as sniper rifles go in paintball, this would have to be one of the best. About the only thing I would change is to go with the straightline barrel or a RAP4 barrel, but the CP barrel is still top notch. With a little bit of dremel tool finese on the inner workings it can really reach out there effectively. Don't bother with the response trigger, E trigger, or the cyclone feed in my opinion, it takes away from the "sniper" feel of the weapon and isn't really meant for automatic or rapid fire modes. The stock trigger pull is perfect for "one shot, one kill". I did however replace the red dot sight with an illuminated crosshair sight and I can reach out to around 100ft or better effectively using Core paint. I highly suggest this weapon for any aspiring or experienced paintball sniper.

The only cons to the weapon are that the shroud is only attached by one bolt at the bottom of the weapon which isn't an issue if... Read more
